Definitely was inspired by the Sombrero Galaxy. I wanted to create a galaxy viewed on edge. The hard thing was keeping the form of a disc at that angle, but focusing keeping "line" correct helped bring rewards in the end.
Perhaps it was a combination of listening to music while looking at the picture, but I just felt like naming it "Save the Princess".
